(Keith Edwards, WQOW) -A woman in Clark County is accused of abusing her puppy, by repeatedly slamming it into a gravel pile.According to WQOW, Amber Parsons, from rural Neillsville, told investigators she 'snapped' and used excessive force when she found the puppy chewing on her couch. The puppy suffered a fracture near its hip. A short time later, a neighbor said he saw Parsons yank the puppy several feet into the air by its leash, then slam it into a pile of gravel. He said that happened four times.
The man said he demanded Parsons give him the dog so he could take it to the vet, and when she refused he said he forced her to the ground until she released the leash. Parsons is charged with misdemeanor animal abuse and disorderly conduct. The puppy had to have a cast on one of its legs. No further information about the puppy's condition has been released.
