Neillsville School Board Accepts $20,000 Donation

The Neillsville School Board on Monday accepted a $20,000 donation from the Listeman Foundation which will be put toward the repair of the Neillsville pool.District Administrator John Gaier said that the cost of repairing a leak in pool will cost around $80,000. Repairs are scheduled to begin after the first of the year.
Also at the meeting on Monday action was taken on some employment matters. The board approved the resignation of Mindy Kren from her teaching assistant position. They also approved the resignation of Stacy Karnau from the assistant volleyball coaching position and the resignation of Tim Voigt from the girls' golf coaching position.
The board also voted to approve the application of Mark Brommer for the assistant track coaching position and they also approved the application of Rebecca Short for the High Quiz Bowl advisor position.
