Mosinee Man Enters Plea for Drug Charges in Wood County Court

A Mosinee man arrested back in April of 2020 in Marshfield after 42 grams of methamphetamine were discovered entered a plea to the charges against him in Wood County Court on Monday.
According to the Marshfield Police Department, officers investigated a suspicious person complaint at 2121 W Veterans Parkway in Marshfield. Upon making contact with 3 individuals, one of whom was on probation, a search was performed due to the individual’s probationary status and searching guidelines regarding Act 79. During the search, a Mosinee man, Dakota Strebig, was requested to exit the rear of a vehicle and refused.
Strebig became resistive and was taken into custody. Upon taking him into custody, 42 grams of Methamphetamine was found on his person. Strebig was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession with intent-amphetamine. Several other charges were dismissed and read in.
