Clark County Board Approves WIC Grant

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved the WIC Grant for the 2015 year.The State of Wisconsin provides a grant for the operation of the WIC Program every year. Clark County will receive $200,442 to cover the cost of running the program again this year and that amount was budgeted for 2015.
The board also approved cancelling various outstanding checks that are over two years old. The checks range in price from $.79 to $100. The board approved donating funds to the Neillsville Airport as well. The county donated $10,000 from the General Fund Balance and donated it to the City of Neillsville which will be specifically used for the airport.
Finally, the board approved county bridge and culvert construction. The various towns in the county requested county aid in constructing bridges and culverts. The county levied a tax to meet those appropriations on all county property.
