Clark County Board of Supervisors Approve Several Appointments

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several items at their meeting on Tuesday of last week.The board approved several appointments including William Neville as Veteran's Service Commissioner, Mary Dorn and Roz Klanderman to the Clark County Library Committee, Tom Bobrofsky to the Wisconsin Valley Library Service, Maryanne Olson and Virginia Kodl to the Housing Authority Committee and Tom Garbisch to the Community Options Program Advisory Committee.
The board also approved the 2015 Forestry and Parks Annual Work Plan. The department does this every year and it offers some clarity and direction to the department's budget. Along with that, the board also agreed to enter into contracts, which is required by state statute, with the State Department of Health Services and Department of Children and Family Services.
Finally, the board approved repealing a county ordinance regarding campgrounds. This was repealed because it required all privately owned campgrounds to get an annual county permit, but all campgrounds need to be inspected and licensed by the Department of Health Services anyway.
