Several Reports at Owen City Council Meeting

-The Owen City Council heard several reports at their meeting on Tuesday of last week.Police Chief Andy Schade reported the city received a $600 forfeiture for a semi-truck who had crossed the wooden bridge. The council also voted to approve the Owen-Withee Police 2015 Service Agreement for $60,000, resulting in a $1,750 increase from 2014. Withee also stated that they would like the opportunity to have more input into the Police Service Agreement and budget process for next year's 2016 Budget. The Village of Withee approved the Agreement on November 10th.
The council also heard the public works report. The police cars are being parked in the City garage and it's possible the city could park their sweeper in the Withee shop. The DNR has the permit for the culvert replacement on Willow Road.
Finally, Owen City Clerk Terri Ernst presented the 2nd report on the city's 2015 Budget.
