Neillsville City Council Hears Several Reports

-The Neillsville City Council heard several reports at their meeting on Tuesday of last week.During a Personnel Committee Meeting held on October 28th, the committee discussed union contract negotiations with the Neillsville Professional Police Association. A few changes were made to the wording of the contract regarding vacation time and the work schedule.
The council then heard a report from a recent Heritage Days Committee Meeting held on October 30th. The committee discussed the Miss Neillsville budget, suggestions were reviewed and discussed and the date and schedule of events for 2015 was approved. The event will be the 2nd weekend of July.
Finally, the council heard a report from a Police and Fire Commission Meeting held on November 5th. The purpose of this meeting was allowing the Neillsville Police Department to offer employment to a candidate that applied for the job.
