Neillsville City Council Hears Reports
Sunday, November 16th, 2014 -- 11:10 AM
The Neillsville City Council heard several reports at their meeting on Tuesday.During the Public Works report, the council heard about the usual chores done in the past couple weeks including equipment maintenance, mulching leaves, picking up leaves, winterizing and turning off water lines, removing fall decorations, putting up Christmas decorations, hauling brush and compost, street sweeping, picking up debris along storm and gutters and more.
Public Works Director Dave Flynn also said the Well 4 for Neillsville is being rehabilitated and they will continue picking up leaves, but the snow has thrown a small wrench in that plan. For leaf picking, they do the city by sections and if you rake up your leaves right after they've passed your house, they won't be back until the come back to that section.
Dave also said that they've replaced street signs along Division Street, complete mixing their salt/sand and they did do some sanding and salting with Monday's storm
