Clark County Board of Supervisors Hears Update on Emergency Communication System Upgrade, Part 3

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors heard an update on the county's Emergency Communication System Upgrade.Clark County Emergency Management Director John Ross informed the board the outside support will be needed to complete the project. John gave some examples of outside support including professional consulting and engineering services to prepare vendor neutral bid specifications and review bids received; provide project management and oversight through the completion; and acceptance in partnership with county project manager and assist with possible work to integrate site connectivity into CINC Network System.
Legal Support will also be needed. The county Corporation Counsel assistance will be critical in reviewing of contracts and vendors, participation of lease negotiations and agreements and review any possible Memorandums of Agreement if CINC participation moves forward.
