Two Marshfield Teens Cited for Six Vehicle Accident

-Two Marshfield teens were cited after a chain reaction of crashes involving six vehicles occurred in the City of Marshfield.Around 3:20pm on Friday of last week, a school bus was stopped near the intersection of North Peach Avenue and Grant Street to allow some children to exist the bus. The first vehicle stopped properly behind the bus and allowed the children to exit.
Another vehicle stopped behind the first, but then a third vehicle hit the second from behind which caused the second vehicle to get pushed into the first. At that point, two more vehicle tried to stop, but a sixth car failed to stop and crashed into the fifth and pushed it into the fourth.
The driver of the third vehicle, a 17-year-old Marshfield boy, and the driver of the sixth vehicle, a 16-year-old Marshfield girl, was cited for following too closely while driving. One of the drivers in the incident, an 85-year-old Marshfield woman, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield for minor injuries. She has been treated and released.
