Wausau Teen Involved in Taylor County Burglaries Sentenced

-A Wausau teen involved in a series of burglaries in Marathon and Taylor Counties was sentenced in Taylor County on Monday morning.Johnathan Kuy, of Wausau, and Nicholas Draszkiewicz, of Medford, were charged for breaking into the Farm and Home and Hickory Nutz Sausage in November. Kuy was also charged with breaking into Happy Joe's Pizza.
Kuy was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of four of the eight charges filed against him in Taylor County including burglary of a building, two counts of theft of moveable property and criminal damage to property. Kuy was sentenced to a total of six years in prison, three years extended supervision and six years of probation.
Kuy was sentenced to 5 years in prison and 5 years of extended supervision in Marathon County. However, the extended supervision sentence was imposed and stayed assuming he completes the 8 years probation he was also sentenced to. Kuy's partner, Draszkiewicz, was sentenced to 20 days in jail in Taylor County back in June for his part in the crime.
