Veteran's Ceremony at The Highground

-The Highground Veterans Memorial Park in Neillsville will hold its Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday, November 11th.At Noon, over 2,000 names of Wisconsin service personnel who were killed in action or missing in action during the Korean War and the Vietnam War will be read. The Veterans Day ceremony will begin at 3:00pm on The Highground's plaza. The names of the Wisconsin military servicemen and women who we have lost in Persian Gulf conflicts will be read as part of the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony will be Korean War Veteran, Tony Eilers. Persian Gulf veterans and family members of those killed in the Persian Gulf will able to sign the base of the Wisconsin Persian Gulf Tribute, which is under construction at The Highground.
Visitors to the Veterans Day ceremony will also be able to view the unique display of photographs, videos and cultural artifacts of "From Laos to America: Changing Worlds, Changing Lives".
If you would like to participate in reading the names of those killed or missing in action, please contact The Highground. Also, please note that on Veteran's Day the Clark County Courthouse will be closed from 10:30am to 1:00pm.
