Construction on New Show Barn at Clark County Fairgrounds Starts Again
Monday, March 29th, 2021 -- 2:00 PM
Construction of the new 130' x 214' show barn that Bestimate LLC designed for Clark County at the fairgrounds in Neillsville began again last Thursday.
The concrete was done last fall, now the steel I beam wind frame that opens the center for an 80' show ring is in place, which is over 12,000 pounds of steel.
Bundles of laminated wood posts will be going up and braced, then wood truss rafters will be mounted on four rows of posts with machine stress rated 2x6 roof purlins between the rafters.
The structure will be 35' tall at the ridge, a real show place for Clark County to show sheep, hogs and beef cattle.
