House Fire in Marshfield Saturday Night

-There was a house fire in Marshfield on Saturday night.The Marshfield Fire Department responded to the fire at a home at 1505 South Balboa Avenue around 9:45pm.
It was reported that smoke and flames were coming from a bathroom vent and firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic. The homeowners were at home at the time of the fire and they had guests over, but everyone was able to make it out safely and no one was injured.
A fire investigator with the department said that the fire was caused by an overloaded electrical conductor. He said there was extensive smoke and fire damage to the attic and there was some smoke and water damage to the rest of the home.
The damage is estimated to be around $75,000.
