-Authorities are still searching for a man that has been on the run since June.On June 10th, 38-year-old Eric Hall was released from prison. Not long after, he was seen on security footage pumping gasoline into a stolen vehicle in Chippewa County. Authorities ended up in a high speed chase with him later that evening which spread into Eau Claire County before he escaped.
Back in July, a tip led authorities to Wood County where Hall has family and friends. When they went to a home in Vesper, Hall managed to escape again. Authorities believe that Hall made it to Jackson County and stole another vehicle.
Hall has stolen several vehicles and burglarized homes since he's been freed. It is also believed he's armed as he stole a truck in Western Wisconsin that had firearms in it.
Authorities are asking for help in locating hall, but if you see him, don't approach him. Call the authorities right away. Deputies say that Hall has connections to several counties including Portage, Marathon, Wood, Adams, Monroe, Jackson, Grant, Oneida, Sauk, Vilas, Eau Claire, Barron and Chippewa.
