Neillsville School Board Approves Donations

The Neillsville School Board approved a couple donations during their meeting on Monday.The board approved a donation of dictionaries to the 3rd graders from the Neillsville Optimist Club.
They also accepted a donation of a plaque from the class of 1954. On the plaque is a picture of the old school before it was torn down. The class of '54 was the last class to graduate from the old building. There was a third donation tabled for the time being.
The board also approved the formation of a Quiz Bowl Team. There are 11 kids interested which would allow the district to form a JV and Varsity team.
Finally, the board approved an early graduation request. The student will be graduating a semester early. The board also approved the Red Cross to use the school district in an emergency situation.
