Marshfield Library Receives Generous Donation for New Facility

-The City of Marshfield and the Library & Community Center Capital Campaign Committee are pleased to announce a generous gift from Everett Roehl.With this gift, the name of the new Library becomes the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library. The opening of the new library is expected to be 2016; construction will begin in 2015.
Roehl Transport is headquartered in Marshfield and has always been a contributor to the local economy. A Marshfield area native, Everett Roehl is the founder of Roehl Transport, Inc., an award-winning carrier of national renown for quality and safety.
With this gift the "Building Connections" capital campaign moves into phase II of the two phase project. The Community Center will be a multi-generational facility with improved restrooms, a community kitchen, a large meeting room that may be subdivided into four smaller rooms, spaces for senior activities, a large social area and room for possible partners such as the Aging and Disability Resource Center.
