Alumni Hall of Fame Inductions at the Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard about recent Alumni Hall of Fame Inductions.Mike McCabe, the Class of 1978, and Terry Laube, the Class of 1973, were inducted in to the Alumni Hall of Fame as part of the Homecoming ceremonies on October 10th. Mr. McCabe and Mr. Laube become the 5th and 6th members of the Hall.
The board also heard about the 2013 District and School Report Cards. District Administrator Bob Houts distributed and discussed the state report cards for each of the three schools and the district and they all received a "Meet Expectations" as determined by the DPI.
Finally, the board reviewed and approved the Youth Options Applications. Each year, by October 1st, students wishing to take college courses through the Youth Options program must apply to the school board. The district has one such student who is applying to take 12 credits at UW-Marshfield this spring. The Board unanimously approved the application.
