-Jackson County authorities are looking for an 18-year-old sex offender and have issued a statewide alert.Caleb Rave, of Black River Falls, is wanted in Jackson County for felony bail jumping and he failed to appear in court for the charge of 1st degree sexual assault of a child. Rave removed his electronic monitoring/GPS unit and has disappeared. He was placed on house arrest after he was found guilty of the charge filed against him earlier this year. Rave was supposed to be sentenced on Halloween.
On Monday of this week, Rave's device sent out a signal that he was outside of the area he was allowed and shortly after, it stopped transmitting all together. In backtracking Rave's path, authorities determined that he withdrew a large amount of money at the Jackson County Bank in Black River Falls.
Rave is described as Native American, standing 6'7", weighing 270 pounds with brown eyes and wearing glasses. Authorities believe he's traveling with a James Hill in a black Volkswagen Jetta with a WI license plate reading 282WLA. If you know where Rave is, please call the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
