Unemployment Rate Drops in Most Wisconsin Counties

-The unemployment rate fell in almost every Wisconsin city and county in September.The state Department of Workforce Development reported Wednesday that unemployment dropped in 31 of the 32 largest cities in September. Unemployment fell in 70 of the state's 72 counties as well.
Clark County's unemployment rate dropped to 4.3% in September, down from August's 4.7% and down from September of 2013's 5.3%.
For our surrounding counties, Chippewa is at 4.1%, Eau Claire at 4%, 5.3% for Jackson, 4.8% for Wood, 4.4% for Marathon and Taylor is at 4.5%
The state's overall unemployment rate in September was 5.5 percent.
