-An Abbotsford man was sentenced for buying supplies for a convicted meth dealer.32-year-old Justin Reese of Abbotsford, along with 38-year-old Penny Krug and 30-year-old Heather Prust both from Medford, had charges of providing medication to a dealer filed against them.
Earlier this year, an investigation revealed that, along with these three, at least 42 other people may have purchased ingredients for meth production for the dealer, 28-year-old Dallas Smart. Smart is serving a nine year prison sentence as he was found guilty of numerous charges that all had to deal with the selling and production of meth.
Reese had two charges filed against him including the intentional disposal of meth waste and the purchase of pseudoephedrine for another with the intent to produce meth. In Taylor County Court on Tuesday afternoon, the first charge was dismissed and read in; he was found guilty of the second due to a no contest plea. Reese was sentenced to 6 months in jail and he owes the courts over $2,000.
Both Krug and Prust will appear in court next week for a preliminary hearing.
