Neillsville City Council Hears Fire Hall and Cemetery Commission Reports

-The Neillsville City Council went over many committee and department reports at their meeting on Tuesday of last week as each department prepares for the city?s 2015 budget.The council heard the report from the Community Fire Hall Board meeting held on September 18th. The department heard about the current funds available and it was mentioned that they?re looking into replacing the towel dispensers in the bathroom. They also approved presenting the 2015 budget at $12,650.
The council also heard the Board of Cemetery Commissioners Report from their meeting on September 22nd. It was reported that everything is going well in that department. The new skid steer was ordered and there was a slight delay because the original business they were dealing with went out of business.
They also presented their 2015 budget at $64,523 compared to last year?s $86,523. The $22,000 difference is attributed to the fact that the department has bought the skid steer, which was included in the 2014 budget.
