-A former Abbotsford teacher accused of sexually assaulting two of his students appeared in Clark County Court for a motion hearing.Back in January, the Abbotsford Police Department began an investigation into allegations that 25-year-old Andy Follen had an inappropriate relationship with some of his female students.
After authorities interviewed the two female students, who admitted to engaging in sexual activities with Follen, authorities charged him with five counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff. He was then charged with bail jumping and intimidating a victim after he was caught contacting one of the victims in this matter.
Follen?s attorney filed several motions that were looked at on Monday afternoon. However, most of the motions were left pending as more information was needed by both sides in regards to evidence and witnesses including evidence from an iPod, field notes from various sources and others.
A status conference was set for early December, to make sure both sides are set with their evidence and witnesses and Follen may appear for a trial in late January or early February.
