Neillsville Fire Department Responded to Fire at Neillsville Business

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a fire at a Neillsville business on Friday evening.Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer said they received the call just before 8pm on Friday. The call stated that a trash compactor at Cummins Filtration in Neillsville was on fire.
When the department arrived, they found the compactor was on fire and had smoke billowing from it. They pulled the compactor away from the building and extinguished the flames.
The department was on scene for about 20 minutes and there were no injuries and no damage to the building.
