Clark County Board of Supervisors Approve Farmland Preservation Plan

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a few resolutions at their meeting on Thursday.The board approved the Clark County Farmland and Preservation Plan. The plan consists of goals and policies for preserving farmland and the agricultural economy. The plan expires on December 31st, of 2015 and the plan requires that a new plan be adopted by January 1st of 2016.
As agriculture is a vital part of Clark County?s economy and it helps create new jobs while maintaining existing ones, the board approved the resolution.
The board also approved selling a 3.2 acre parcel of land by way of quit claim deed to the four adjacent landowners for $3,000.
