Avoid the Flu: Marshfield Clinic Holds Immunization Clinics Next Week

-Getting sick is never fun, which is why it?s important to get a flu shot to help protect you and the people you live and work with.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices have said the influenza vaccine should be provided to all persons, six months of age or older, who want to reduce the risk of becoming ill or of transmitting influenza to others.
The Marshfield Clinic?s Colby/Abbotsford Center is holding an immunization clinic on September 23rd, 24th and 25th from 8:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
The vaccines available include influenza for adults and children, pneumonia for adults and Tdap, or tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis for adults.
No appointment is necessary and parents must accompany their children.
