Marshfield Man Admits to Scamming People Trying to Buy Packers' Tickets

-Marshfield police say a local man has admitted to scamming football fans who thought they were buying Packers' tickets.Police Chief Rick Gramza says about 20 people lost a total of $50,000. The chief says the 37-year-old man told ticket buyers he had connections with the Green Bay Packers through a previous job. Gramza reportedly said that made the man seem legitimate. Police say he took the buyers money, but never produced the tickets.
The case has been referred to the Wood County district attorney for review.
