Thorp Man Sentenced in Taylor County for Theft

-A Thorp man was sentenced in Taylor County Court for stealing from a cabin near Medford.Back in January, the Taylor County Sheriff?s Department was asking for help in identifying a man who was photographed by a trail camera taking tools from a cabin in the Township of Molitor which is northwest of Medford.
33-year-old Travis Hamm later turned himself in for the robbery. Hamm was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of theft of moveable property and burglary of a building or dwelling. Two charges of felony bail jumping and criminal damage to property were dismissed and read in.
He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and owes the courts over $700. He?s also facing theft and drug charges here in Clark County and theft charges in Chippewa County.
