-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several resolutions at their meeting on Thursday of last week. The board approved three properties to be tax deeded and appraised for sale. Two of the properties are in the City of Abbotsford and will be sold together for a minimum price of $7,500. The final property is in the Town of Dewhurst and will be sold for a minimum price of $1,000.
Continuing that theme, the board approved to convey a piece of property, which consists of a town road, to the Town of Levis by quit claim deed as Levis maintains that road anyway.
An additional 5 years of time was given to a resident that owns property in the Town of Mead to construct a residential dwelling as that was part of the conditions for the individual to buy the property.
Finally, the board approved the Clark County Emergency Management Department to find a host applicant, a Fire Department in the county, to apply for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant which would help fund 50% of Clark County?s Emergency Communications Upgrade with the county paying the rest.
