2021 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Excellence Scholarship Applications Can Now Be Submitted

Online applications for the 2021 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Excellence Scholarship can now be submitted from Wisconsin high school students.

According to Wisconsin Ag Connection, Coordinators say 100 students will be chosen to receive $10,000 scholarships from the program.  Applicants must be state residents who will graduate from high school in 2020, and plan to continue their education at a college, university, or vocational/technical school. Students will be evaluated on academic achievement, leadership, citizenship, and school and community activities. 

The selection will be made by a state-level panel composed of representatives from the Wisconsin Newspaper Association Foundation, Cooperative Educational Service Agencies, Wisconsin Council of Religious and Independent Schools, several education-related associations, and community representatives.
