Thorp Elementary Students Hold Successful Fundraiser

Thorp Elementary Students held a successful fundraiser for the JDRF.

They raised a total of $3,000 for the JDRF fundraiser this year.  The Thorp School District would like to give a special thanks to the following businesses for contributing to our fundraising efforts including LaGrander’s Hillside Dairy, Knockout Nutrition, and Marieke Gouda Cheese.

Their event winners include the Kindergarten and 5th grade for the Coin War Challenge in which they raised $1,730.  The 3rd grade was the winner of Hat Day raising $297.  And Mrs. Mohr’s 2nd Grade Class won Pajama Day raising $288.

The district would also like to thank all of the families that made personal donations to their page.  Not only did they exceed their goal, the Elementary raised a total of $3,000 for the JDRF fundraiser this year.
