Officer Hurt in Two Vehicle Crash in Spencer

-Two people were hurt, including a Spencer Police Officer, after a crash on Friday night.According to the Marathon County Sheriff?s Department, the Spencer officer was going to assist the Sheriff?s Department with a crash that occurred in the Village of Unity on Highway 13.
However, as he was on his way, the officer collided with another car at the intersection of South Pacific Avenue and East Clark Street in Spencer.
Both the officer and the driver of the car he hit were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Marathon County Sheriff?s Department is investigating the incident.
