Walking and Talking Crops Demonstration in Loyal

-Clark County UW-Extension and NRCS will host a Walking and Talking Crops, Corn Nitrogen Demonstration Field Day on August 21st at Malm?s Rolling Acres, from 12:30 pm ? 3:00 p.m.The farm is located at W4234 153 Road, take County Road K north of Loyal to Maple Center Road, turn west, and then go to 153 Road, go north on 153 Road, watch for the UWEX signs.
This program will cover basic information of different nitrogen rates used in the field. The field day will begin with a discussion of the 2014 growing season and current crop concerns.
Participants will have some hands on experience from demonstrations on soil health.
This will be a rain or shine event. CEU?s will be applied for continuing education for agronomy professionals.
This program is available at no cost. Pre-registration is requested but not required.
