Clark County Votes Mostly in Line with the State, With a Few Exceptions

-Taking a look at other contested election results for Clark County.

Mary Burke easily defeated Brett Hulsey 665 votes to 95, helping her claim the title of democratic candidate for the governor?s race in November. Mary Jo Walters beat John Lehman for Lt. Governor with 347 votes to 324.

Susan Happ won against her two democratic challengers with 377 votes comparted to Ismael Ozanne?s 68 and Jon Richards 222. Dave Leeper won against David Sartori 321 votes to 280 for state treasurer and Kelly Westlund beat Mike Krsiean for the 7th Congressional District.

For Republicans, Julian Bradley beat Gary Bies for Secretary of State, 969 to 473. Matt Adamczyk beat Randall Melchert for State Treasurer, 821 to 577. Sean Duffy easily won against his challenger beating Don Raihala 1,577 votes to 294.

Finally, Thorp being the only Clark County city counted in the 87th Assembly District, Scott Noble beat his challengers, Michael Bub, James Edming and Shirl LaBarre, with 13 votes against their 5, 2 and 0 respectively.

All-in-all, Clark County mostly voted in line with the rest of the state with a few exceptions including the Lt. governor?s, democratic state treasurer?s and 87th Assembly Representative?s races.
