Clark County Will See a Rematch for the 2014 November Election's Sheriff's Race

-The Clark County Sheriff?s race will see a rematch of the 2010 elections.With Clark County Sheriff Greg Herrick?s win over Dorchester Police Chief Gary Leichtman; Herrick will now take on democratic sheriff?s candidate, Scott Haines.
For yesterday?s primary, Sheriff Herrick received 1,286 votes over Leichtman?s 833. Haines had no competitor in the primary and he received 631 votes.
In the 2010 election, Herrick received 4,737 votes over Haines? 2,710.
With a county that has primarily voted Republican, a governor?s battle in the November elections and a many discouraged by today?s political scene, it will be interesting to see how things play out in November.
