Friends of the Fairgrounds Committee Receives Generous Donation from Alice in Dairyland Committee

-The Friends of the Fairgrounds received a generous donation from the Alice in Dairyland Committee in a brief presentation held before the livestock sale on Saturday during the Clark County Fair.Clark County was the host of the 67th Alice in Dairyland Finals this year, with the selection being held in May. The Alice in Dairyland Committee decided that if any funds were left over after the event was completed; they would stay right here in Clark County and go to the Friends of the Fairgrounds Committee.
The Friends of the Fairgrounds Committee was formed to help improve and maintain the Clark County Fairgrounds in order to draw more events to the county and provide better facilities and equipment to those that already use the grounds.
Due to careful planning and budgeting, the Alice Committee had $10,557.27 left over and those funds were happily donated to the Friends of the Fairgrounds Committee.
