Clark County Health Department Receives Seal-A-Smile Grant

-The Clark County Health Department received a special grant from the Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile program.The program funds school-based dental sealant initiatives and Clark County will use the $5,700 grant to visit schools in the county for that purpose. Clark County has been a part of the program since 2010.
The program travels to schools where 35% of the students enrolled participate in the free and reduced-price meal program. 60 of Wisconsin?s 72 counties participate in this program.
The schools the county will be going to during the upcoming school year include Neillsville, Neillsville St. John?s, Granton, Loyal, Loyal St. Anthony?s, Greenwood, Owen-Withee, Thorp, Thorp Catholic, Abbotsford, Colby and Colby St. Mary?s.
