Clark County Health Care Center's Family Fun Fest, Final

-On Sunday, August 10th, starting at 11am, the Clark County Health Care Center is holding their 5th Annual Family Fun Fest.I spoke with Business Office Manager Joan Jalling, Administrator Jane Schmitz and Admissions Coordinator Jenna Thieme about Family Fun Fest.
The Lublin Legion will provide a chicken dinner from 11am to 2pm. There will be kids? activities, a petting zoo, music, raffles and more. Everyone is welcome to attend the event as well.
All the funds raised during the event will be used towards the Health Care Center?s Memory Garden.
Jane said, "We've been doing this for the past 5 years; however, our staff has started planning for the Memory Garden in honor of all the residents and families that we serve here in Clark County. That's been going on for the past 8 years. So, it took us a few years to get the planning process in place and to develop a plan in order to raise money for the Memory Garden. And all the proceeds from our Family Fun Fest does go to the Memory Garden."
Joan, Jane and Jenna are all very grateful for the support they've received so far.
"In the past and in the future, we've been very lucky that people have been so generous towards the facility," said Jane. "And we really do appreciate that! The Memory Garden is just an example of support that we have. Family, friends, community members, community agencies. I mean we've seen donations throughout the county and we really appreciate that. And without that the Memory Garden would not be here. It's very important to us, so we thank everyone for that."
Once again, Family Fun Fest is being held Sunday, August 10th starting at 11am.
