-With the Clark County Fair happening next week, those of you that will be attending will notice a slight change as you come to the fair.Jim Smagacz, of the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department, talked about the change to the entrances of the fairgrounds this year.
"The main entrance we've moved to the south end of the fairgrounds," said Jim. "It's going to be off of Rock Road. It's accessible both from Fairgrounds Avenue off Highway 10 and also it's accessible, if you turn on Boon Boulevard, take Boon down to Lucile, take a left on Lucile and that will run you on to Rock. We will have directional signs starting at Highway 10 directing you right back to the gate."
It?s not just the people visiting the fair that need to use that entrance, those with livestock and exhibits must also enter there as well.
Jim said, "Everybody has to enter through the south gate. The east gate, that comes out to Fairgrounds Avenue, is going to be an exit only. Starting past the pit entrance, the track, anybody that goes beyond that, it will be one way and you should use the exit that goes out to Fairgrounds."
The Clark County Fair is August 6th through the 10th.
