Fill A Backpack Program Donations Needed

The annual ?Fill a Backpack, Fulfill a Need? backpack and school supply drive will begin Monday, July 28th and continue until Sunday August 10th.For the past nine years, Marshfield Area United Way has worked with the Marshfield Clinic to organize this community-wide collection to help provide hundreds of area children with school supplies. United Way became involved with this project because every child deserves to start the school year with everything they need to be successful.
Last year, the backpack and school supply drive helped a record number of students in and around the Marshfield area. Nearly nine-hundred disadvantaged students, from the Marshfield, Auburndale, Granton, Greenwood, Loyal, Neillsville, Pittsville, Spencer and Stratford School Districts received backpacks and school supplies.
Donations can be taken to any of the following drop-off locations between July 28th and August 10th including both Associated and BMO Harris Bank locations in Marshfield, Century 21 Realty, Endless Designs, First Presbyterian Church, Heritage Bank (Marshfield location), Marshfield Clinic, MACCI, Target, Westland Insurance and the Marshfield Area United Way.
