County Republican Party Holds Picnic

The Republican Party of Clark County held it?s annual picnic on July 16th at the Greenwood County Park.Great weather, good food and a slate of candidates made it another successful event.
Candidates appearing at the event included Waukesha Disctrict Attorney Brad Schimmel, candidate for State Attorney General, State Senator Terry Moulton and Assembly representatives Bob Kulp and Kathy Bernier. Retiring 87th District Representative Mary Williams also attended.
Candidates running in this next election also appeared including Scott Noble, James ?Jimmy Edming, Michael Bub and Shirl LaBarre, all campaigning to win the 87th District seat. State Candidates Julian Bradly, running for Secretary of State, and Randy Melchert, running for State Treasurer, also appeared.
Dorchester Police Chief Gary Leichtman will be challenging incumbent Greg Herrick in a Republican Primary election August 12th. County Coroner Richard Schleifer will also seek re-election as will the Clerk of Court.
Jory Jordasch appeared on behalf of Congressman Sean Duffy who was in Washington for the week. Duffy also has a primary election opponent.
