Neillsville Public Library Hosting Alan Jenkins on Saturday

-This Saturday, the Neillsville Public Library and Neillsville Public Library Foundation will host Alan Jenkins.Mr. Jenkins will present American Poets on the Pacific Rim at the library from 10am to Noon.
American Poets on the Pacific Rim is a modest introduction to the influence of classical Chinese and Japanese poetry on 20th Century American poets on the West Coast, specifically Kenneth Rexroth and Sam Hamill.
The presentation also includes the work of two published poets in the Midwest influenced by Rexroth and Hamill: Christian Knoeller, Purdue University, and the presenter, Alan Jenkins, a distant cousin of Rexroth and a ?student? and friend of Hamill.
One again, the event is this Saturday at the Neillsville Public Library from 10am to Noon.
