Greenwood School Board Prepares for 2014-15 School Year

-The Greenwood School Board approved several items in preparation for the 2014-2015 school year.The board approved the 2014-15 Headstart Agreement and approved the 2014-2015 Extra-Curricular Contracts. However, the district still has a middle school football position, middle school girls basketball position, middle school boys basketball position and varsity girls basketball position all open.
The board also approved Weld, Riley, Prenn and Ricci as the district?s designated legal counsel and approved the school newsletter and the TRG as the official school newspaper.
$150 was approved as the petty cash amount for the high school level and they approved several capital purchases including 20 replacement laptops, bleachers for the football field, two windows in the elementary school, carpet in the band room and a copy machine lease agreement.
The board approved the 2014-15 Federal Lunch Program Participation and lunch prices with breakfast and lunch prices increasing by 10 cents for students and adults.
Finally, the 2014-15 dairy and milk bid from Mayville?s was approved, the board heard the preliminary budget for the 2014-2015 school year and they set a meeting date for their policy committee.
