Employment Matters Discussed at the Greenwood School Board

-The Greenwood School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday evening.The board approved a contract for two sixth grade teachers, Jill Klotz and Scott Moseley. They also approved Rachel Helinski as a fifth grade teacher. The district still has third grade to fill.
The board also approved the resignation of Nick Akers. Jennifer Vogler, Greenwood?s Superintendent, thanked Nick for his years of service. She continued saying, your time and dedication to the School District of Greenwood was appreciated.
The board also approved a family medical leave request for Amanda Schlough.
Finally, the board heard a presentation regarding a trip proposal from Kate Boos, the district?s Spanish Teacher. Mrs. Boos presented her trip to Costa Rica to the school board members and they approved the trip for June 15th through the 23rd of 2015.
