Neillsville School District Approves Handbook Changes

-The Neillsville School Board approved changes to the district?s handbooks.All the changes in the handbooks were minor. For instance, one of the main changes to the student handbook was the scheduling of the district?s PIE time. It was moved to the end of the day as opposed to being at the beginning. Also, with the student handbook, it was decided to no longer print them and just have them online like the others.
In the athletic handbook, the main changes were that student athletes cannot have e-cigarettes, information regarding who has whose cell phone numbers when they?re at events, and the wording of a warning to parents about the potential dangers of their children being in sports.
The staff handbook changes were also approved and that would just include the information for the new teachers and removing the teacher?s information that are resigning.
