Clark County Fairest of the Fair Candidates Announced, Part 2

-The candidates for the Clark County Fairest of the Fair met at Tuft?s Mansion on Wednesday afternoon.I spoke with Caroline Wolf, the current Fairest of the Fair, as she spoke about the many events they participated in during her time as Fairest of the Fair.
Miss Wolf said, "My year so far has been very busy. The busiest part of the year has been the summer. As I first started my year at the beginning of the last fair, it was very busy handing out ribbons and help flipping numbers at the auction, so that was really busy and we were usually there from 7am to 11pm. So that was a very long time, but it was a lot of fun."
"Then we started our season right away with the Loyal Corn Festival Parade, then the Granton Fall Festival Parade and then our next parade was Warrens Cranberry Festival. Those were a lot of fun and the Warrens Cranberry Festival is well known for all their queens. Their parade pretty much consists of queens and bands. That was a lot of fun."
"In the fall, I actually had a chance to interview century farmers from Clark County. I got to come home from college on a weekend and I got to interview century farmers and right a report about them. And that actually went into a program that I was able to attend a banquet for them. So it was kinda neat to be able to go to their farms and see how their century farms have changed or what it's like now. Some of them are a lot different then they were. It was really neat."
The Fairest of the Fair coronation is taking place on August 6th, the night before the official first day of the fair on August 7th, at 7:30pm at the Clark County Fairgrounds. The public is welcome to attend.
