Owen-Withee School Board Hears About WOW

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard a presentation to start their meeting on Monday evening.Noel Bartek was on hand to share the successes of the first year of the WOW, or Weekend Owen-Withee, Kids? Meals program.
This program provides weekend meals for low income students in the elementary schools. Meals are provided on Friday?s to students with the best efforts to keep anonymity a priority.
Several community individuals have volunteered to run the program with the financial assistance of many local businesses, churches and civic groups.
The program started during the second semester of last school year and will continue in the fall when school resumes.
