Marshfield Man Involved in an Accident After He Falls Asleep at the Wheel

-A Marshfield man crashed his vehicle near the railroad tracks in Marshfield on Tuesday morning.59-year-old Stephen Wolf was driving on Veterans Parkway just before 11am when he fell asleep.
Wolf struck the median, woke up and over corrected to keep from hitting a light pole. He then entered into a ditch and traveled up and over the railroad tracks before coming to a stop.
There was no damage to the railroad tracks and officials responded to secure the scene from trains coming through.
Wolf was hauling a radioactive organic compound liquid when he got into the accident, but, fortunately, the chemical did not leak.
Wolf was cited for inattentive driving.
