Coronavirus Numbers for March 22nd

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,161 positive incases, no increase over yesterday.  Of the total number of cases, 17 are currently active.  Clark County has had 58 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 572,432 positive cases (an increase of 420 over the previous day) and 6,576 deaths, no increaseover the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 27,102, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 855,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 855,820 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 2,333,528 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,149 positive and 93 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 11,161 positive and 105 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,583 positive and 27 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,816 positive and 183 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,796 positive and 22 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,719 positive and 77 deaths.
