Speed and Alcohol Said to be Factors in Weekend Chain-Reaction Crash in Jackson County

-Speed and alcohol are said to be factors in a chain-reaction crash that left several people hurt in Jackson County this past weekend.According to the Jackson County Sheriff?s Department, a driver of vehicle pulling a boat and trailer was trying to find a safe place to pull over, because his trailer had a flat tire, on County Highway K in the Town of Komensky, south of Hatfield.
At that time, another vehicle heading north hit a third vehicle and then struck the truck and trailer. The northbound traveling vehicle caught fire, but was put out by nearby citizens.
Several people were hurt in the incident.
